In a world where innovation, courage and consistency are increasingly valuable, women\u2019s entrepreneurship stands out as a transformative force. It is not only about starting businesses, but about claiming space, building alternatives, challenging systems and creating paths where there were once only closed doors. On 19 November, we celebrate not just a date, but a global movement powered by women who believe in the power of ideas once they finally reach the world. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Being a woman and an entrepreneur is, in itself, an act of courage<\/strong><\/h3>

International Women\u2019s Entrepreneurship Day exists to highlight an uncomfortable truth: becoming an entrepreneur as a woman still requires resilience, bravery and a daily dose of reinvention. It is not a matter of lacking talent, vision or strategic ability. What is missing is access. Opportunity. Recognition. <\/p><\/div>

Even so, women continue to transform markets, build relevant businesses and define new standards of leadership.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

<\/path><\/svg><\/span>Mary Barra<\/strong> took over General Motors<\/strong> during one of the most challenging chapters in the company\u2019s history and redefined the automaker\u2019s global strategy, driving innovation, safety and organisational culture. Since then, GM has consistently outperformed market expectations in several quarters, as highlighted in a special report by Quarterdeck<\/em>. <\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n
<\/path><\/svg><\/span>Academic research shows that among Brazilian companies listed on B3<\/strong>, those with greater gender diversity on their boards demonstrate stronger financial performance and lower operational risk<\/strong>. This pattern was identified in studies conducted by researchers at UFRGS, reinforcing that diversity is not an identity agenda, it is a strategic one. <\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n
<\/path><\/svg><\/span>Female representation in senior leadership in Brazil<\/strong> has been growing, albeit slowly. The number of women CEOs has nearly doubled in recent years, and participation in executive roles has reached 34 percent<\/strong>, according to a comprehensive Bain & Company<\/em> report published by TI Inside<\/em>. <\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n
<\/path><\/svg><\/span>On the global stage<\/strong>, progress remains modest: only around 6 percent of the world\u2019s CEOs<\/strong> are women \u2014 a number that reveals the scale of both the opportunity and the challenge. This data comes from Deloitte\u2019s long-running global study Women in the Boardroom<\/em>, which has tracked the topic for more than a decade. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
